The Montessori was opened in 1999 by the current owner and manager, Deborah Anderson, who continues to direct the learning strategies and work within the Montessori.

Over the years many teaching methods have come in and out of favour, but Montessori has prevailed and, as of 2022, the current thinking is very much Montessori by another name !

We are very much interested in new teaching research and have incorporated the best developments into our day to day activities. Our aim is to help each child to their full potential, but also help staff members to learn and grow too !   We also work with our parents to help with whatever their questions and queries may be and help them to understand their child’s development phases.

We were delighted to find out that we had been nominated for a “Northampton Education Award” in 2022.
